Executive Director's Agenda
Wednesday, July 2nd 2008 -- Hector Clouthier, Executive Director of OHRIA has been busy promoting the horse racing industry in Ontario. Mr. Clouthier, when not working in his office makes numerous visits to different areas of the province, meeting with horsepeople, track management and various stake holders within the industry. These visits have been and continue to be a great source of information regarding the past, present and more importantly the future of the horse racing industry. Further to this, Hector has been speaking with service clubs throughout Ontario promoting horse racing and has many more speaking engagements booked.

Friday, May 13th 2005 -- The Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame, the most exclusive fraternity in the country, announced its 2005 inductees at a reception held in the Hall of Fame located at Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto.

Friday, May 13th 2005 -- Wando, who swept Canada's Triple Crown of Thoroughbred racing in 2003, was retired Thursday morning because of a leg injury.
