Committee Seeking Industry Input on Proposed New Rules for Human Drug and Alcohol Treatment and Rehabilitation
Thursday, July 22nd 2004 -- An Industry Committee wants to hear from members of the horse racing industry on its recommendations to incorporate treatment and rehabilitation for positive human drug and alcohol tests into the Ontario Racing Commission’s (ORC) regulatory structure. The proposed rules suggest that treatment and assessment replace fines and penalties in ORC Rulings on positive drug and alcohol tests.
