 Tuesday, June 24th 2008 Hugh Mitchell President and Chair of OHRIA has issued the following statement regarding the Horse Racing Industry Strategic Review report. I would like to commend Stanley Sadinsky and his co-panellists Jane Stewart and William McDonnell for their work in co-ordinating this very important and thorough report regarding the horse racing industry in Ontario. Obviously, the report covers a wide range of issues that will require in depth analysis by the industry. As President and Chair of OHRIA it is incumbent upon me to withhold further comments until I’ve read the report and consulted with the Board of Directors of OHRIA. | |   |
